Why the new name? When we launched in early 2026, our carbon monoxide & gas detector was called AirGuard — and it quickly found its way into thousands of homes. But as we grew, something else grew with us: other sellers began copying our product and trading on the AirGuard name. Lookalike listings, similar packaging, the same name on products we’d never touched.

For us that was frustrating. For customers it was worse — people trying to find the real thing were landing on imitations, and people with problems on a copycat unit were emailing us for help with a product we never made. The name stopped doing the one thing a name is supposed to do: tell you exactly what you’re getting, and who stands behind it.

So we’ve brought everything under HavenGuard Detector™ — a name that’s fully our own and protects you from imitations. When you see HavenGuard Detector™, you know it comes from us: the same detector, the same live-reading sensor, the same guarantee, and the same real people answering the phone.

You may still see “AirGuard” on some packaging or older materials during the transition. Rest assured: it’s the exact same product, straight from us.
